The Intersex Parent

THE INTERSEX PARENT
SHOW NOTES

The birth of your first child is miraculous, its a moment in time that you will never forget.
But what happens if you find out 4 weeks before birth that your child is intersex. You may be thinking right now what does that even mean?
In hospital and society we are put in to boxes. When we are born the doctors tick girl or boy- but for many people this isn't the case.
This is one mothers story of her experience. It will differ to others in the intersex community or other intersex parents. I ask you to listen to this story as one of many - as always with an open heart and mind.
