A little about me. I’m 37 years old. A mum to two and a podcast creator. I have been told I have a knack of making people feel really comfortable sharing stories. Thats why I created “The Deep”.
I've worked in the media for over 12 years. From having my own column in the newspaper to co-hosting a radio show with my husband Benji Marshall.
I've co-hosted 4 radio shows in both NZ and AUS, hosted travel, cooking shows and wellness shows. I’ve created content for some of Aussies favourite brands and hosted podcasts for Mama mia.
I also gave birth amongst all this chaos and I am madly in love with my little boy Fox and my new baby girl Ever.
Most recently I’ve created “What women want” live events that bring women together with a focus on re-discovering identity and purpose.
But of all of the work I’ve created - I’m really proud of “The Deep” a podcast that explores - who are we when no one is looking? I get to speak to unique individuals that have incredible life stories - parents that have been given a terminal diagnosis, conscious sex workers, ice addicts and troll hunter are just a few examples. It went Top 10 on the apple charts within the first 2 weeks and has since spent five days at Number 1.
These people are unique- they are people you may have wondered about but rarely hear from. Often harshly judged or misunderstood it's time we challenge listeners. We want each listener to walk away changed somehow for the better. These stories are heart wrenching, some hilarious but all very human.
We are all 4 or 5 circumstances from being in the other person's shoes. So be kind, be open and get ready to delve into The Deep.
